Tadasana- Mountain pose (also called Samashthiti) Standing: steady like a mountain. Feet together or hip width apart. A stable , rooted base of support with body weight equal across the feet. Ideally all the major joints of your body will align one above the other- ankles, knees, hips and shoulders, creating a vertical line that also passes through the ears. Engage the muscles of the legs and lower belly and open across the collar bones, dropping your shoulders back and down. The crown of your head reaches to the sky. Now there is clear stability from the feet, legs and spine, the rib cage and shoulder girdle can move more freely to allow for movement of the breath. Breathe....
JUST WAITING? HOW ABOUT PRACTICING TADASANA AND RESTORING YOUR SPINE TO IT’S ORIGINAL STATE SO YOU CAN BREATH MORE FREELY?
